Dear Fellow Exercise Physiologist,

As many you are already aware, the late Governor Frank O’Bannon proclaimed October 29th as Exercise Physiologist Day. This helps to signify the valuable contributions made by exercise physiologist to the promotion of regular exercise, research, and education to better serve the public’s health care needs.
We encourage you to take time at work and recognize the Exercise Physiologists at your facility. Make sure to inform administration and management that you will be celebrating the occasion, and ask them to participate.
This marks one of the many ways the I.A.E.P is working hard to the make exercise physiology a visible and recognized profession in Indiana. The I.A.E.P will continue to work hard to enhance the image of exercise physiology profession, as well as promote the growth and application of exercise physiology in health promotion, disease prevention, and rehabilitation settings.
I want to thank you for your support of the I.A.E.P. Your support will become even more critical as we continue to address the challenges of Exercise Physiologist. We continue to work hard to make licensure a reality, improve the integrity and professionalism, and increasing public awareness that exercise physiologist have in the lives of their patients, members, and the community.

Again, thank you for your support of the I.A.E.P and Happy Exercise Physiology Day!

Sincerely,

Matt Lehn, MBA, EPC
